About Big PaPaw Soap Company
The name "Big PaPaw" came from my three-year-old grandson, who needed a way to tell his grandfathers apart. Being the largest of the bunch, I became Big PaPaw - and it stuck.
I grew up on a small family farm in North Carolina, spending most of my time alongside my grandpa. We'd fire up the old cast iron wash pot for rendering pork fat to lard, cooking beets, and doing the hard work that came with farm life. Those memories of simple, honest work stayed with me.
Years later, dealing with dry skin myself, I started making soap from tallow the traditional way. What I discovered was something our grandfathers knew all along - that good, honest ingredients work better than all the fancy stuff on store shelves.
Now I'm making tallow soap to help other men take care of their skin the way it was meant to be done. No nonsense, no chemicals you can't pronounce - just quality soap made the old-fashioned way.
